Chris Watts BSc

Formerly an RF design engineer and Radio Systems Engineer in companies ranging in size from Siemens and GEC to a 2 man design consultancy, Chris has clocked up 42 years experience at the leading edge of electronics design. Before becoming independent and forming Bayford Systems Limited, Chris worked for Microsemi giving him experience of RF CMOS circuit design. He also helped define chip architectures and define overall requirements based on his extensive knowledge of the regulatory environment. After the first year of BSL Chris went to work for Golledge Electronics, starting a new challenge and learning a lot about the crystal, oscillator and RF filter market.
As a systems engineer Chris is as comfortable defining DSP algorithms as he is designing RF circuits. He has extensive experience of using Matlab and Simulink in the modeling of complex systems with both analogue and digital parts.
